Since the middle Ages, the Albet i Noya family has been producing wine in the Penedès region, located 50 minutes’ drive from Barcelona.
Currently, the fourth generation manages the Can Vendrell modernist cellar, where a wide range of organic wines and cava (sparkling wine) are produced. From the 80 hectares of vineyard, high quality white and red wine is produced: among the most important varieties are Chardonnay, Macabeo, Xarel·lo, cabernet sauvignon, tempranillo – locally named ull de l’ebre.
Our tour includes a visit to the Albet i Noya cellar, a private bus and a specialized certified guide. During the visit, you will learn about the process of ecological wine production in Can Vendrell. Also you will have the chance to enjoy three of their best wines: white, red and sparkling.
In addition, the Albet i Noya cellar offers a huge variety of interesting activities that can be combined with your visit: a ride through the vineyards by “burricleta” (electric bike), "wine and chocolate" tasting experience, a Segway or Jeep tour.
