We offer a private tour to Freixenet for private groups of 8 to 200 people. The tour takes you to one of Spain's most important wineries. Freixenet is the worlds leading producer of sparkling wine with an annual production of more than 100 million bottles of cava (champagne).
The Freixenet Cellar Tour starts with pick-up at your hotel by a private bus and an English speaking driver. We will soon be at the Freixenet Winery, where you will start with an introductory to the winery and its fantastic history.
You will now visit the winery with and learn about the production. The winery produces more than 100 mio. bottles a year! The tour in the cellar ends with a tour in a train that takes you through the modern part of the cellar.
After the tour you will have a tasting of one of Freixenet's best cavas: the classic Cordón Negro Freixenet Cava, a bestseller all over the world. Hereafter you will visit the shop where you are able to buy not only Freixenet Cavas but also interesting products made by wineries owned by the Freixenet Group, such as Segura Viudas, René Barbier, Henrí Abelé or Fra Guerau.
Duration: 3½-4 hours (including intransportation from and to Barcelona). The tour can be customized.
