The boutique hotel, has a lovely relaxed and personal atmosphere. The hotel is placed perfect with short walking distance to the plaza Cataluña and the buzzing Rambla, and is located on the pleasant and quiet side-street of Bergara.
In the summer period from May to September there is live music on the roof terrace 5 days a week, and during the winter season every weekend. The local artists play music that creates a fantastic atmosphere, while sitting in the sun and eating delicious tapas and enjoying one of the bar's many different cocktails.
The hotel's restaurant offers a delicious breakfast buffet with a great variety of both Spanish and international dishes as well as fresh fruit and homemade bread. Furthermore, there is for lunch and dinner, a fine selection of different menus with both vegetarian and gluten-free dishes.
It all can be enjoyed on the restaurant's covered terrace, which also serves different delicious cakes - or ordered as room service.
The hotel has 92 rooms, all with flat screen TV, 100% Egyptian cotton linens, free wi-fi, minibar and safe. The bathrooms are designed in marble and ceramic and have both bathrobes and slippers. All rooms are designed by Lázaro Rosa-Violàn who creates classical and soothing surroundings.
Close to the hotel besides the rambla and plaza Cataluña, you will find the ancient theater Espai the Creaciò, the hard rock cafe, the large shopping center El Corte Ingles, Colleseum Theatre, University Square and Barcelona's Museum of Contemporary Art. Also the city's best brunch and cake place – “Brunch and cake”. When you walk down the Rambla, you can find the ancient Roman tombs wich were found, when the city was renovated for the Olympics in 1992, the beautiful Cathedral, the fantastic food market where locals, tourists and professional chefs come to buy fresh produce from areas around Barcelona.
